The dumpster fire continues to escalate as the Swallows finished off another dismal road trip and were swept in Nagoya to stay winless in July.

Despite not having his best stuff, David Buchanan kept the team in position to compete. Unfortunately, the offense struggled again and came up short in the end per usual.

The Swallows were lead on offense by Coco Balentien and his three run home run in the sixth  inning, accounting for all the scoring. Chunichi scored their runs collectively as every starter other than the pitcher had at least one hit. Guerrero, Fujino and leading Central League rookie of the year candidate Kyoda had the RBIs.

The Swallows now start a three game set at Jingu against Central League leading Hiroshima.
