The Swallows scored eleven runs for the second straight night against Chunichi as Yamanaka went the distance on the mound and Balentien went deep twice.

Yamanaka, winless on the season started for the Swallows against Oguma for Chunichi. 

The game showed signs of another offensive slugfest in the early going as the Swallows opened the game with two runs (RBIs by Balentien and Rivero) before Chunichi immediately responded with a run on a Kyoda RBI single after an error by Swallows infielder  Okumura. 2-1 Swallows after two innings

The Swallows continued to put runs on the board for the rest of the game as Balentien led the Swallows with two home runs, five RBIs while newcomer Rivero and Sakaguchi each chipped in with two RBIs each. 

Meanwhile on the mound, Yamanaka went the distance throwing 132 pitches, scattering eight hits and giving up two runs en route to earning his first win of the season. 11-2 Swallows final

The Swallows move on to Hiroshima for a weekend three game set against the Carp.
