Tokyo Swallows 4

Fukuoka Hawks 7

Streak: Lost 1   Last 5: WLTWL

(Fukuoka Yahuoku Dome)

The Swallows traveled down to Fukuoka to play in the Fukuoka Dome which was renovated in the past offseason to bring in the outfield fences to encourage more home runs. That plan worked and the Hawks’ power overwhelmed Ogawa and the Swallows.
