Despite the low score, the basepaths got a fair bit of use in this game and both teams went to the bullpen a few times.

The scoring:

Bottom of the third, one out: Yamada singled, Morioka struck out, Kawabata walked, and Balentien hit an RBI double. Yuhei walked to load the bases, then Iwamura grounded out to end the inning. 1-0 Tokyo.

Top of the fourth: Ishikawa singled and Tsutsugo hit an RBI double. Two outs later, Tsutsugo had made it over to third and alternate Exile member Hitoshi Tamura singled him home. 2-1 Yokohama.

Top of the eighth: Tsutsugo welcomed Emura to the game with a solo home run. 3-1 Yokohama.

Bottom the ninth, rally time: Ueda led off with a single and a the pinch-hitting Takeuchi sac-bunted him to second. Yamada popped out. Morioka drove Ueda in and was replaced by Hiyane on first. Kawabata doubled and was replaced by Noguchi. Two fast guys in scoring position with Coco at the bat. Eight pitches into the appearance, he popped out. No joy in Jingu. 3-2 Yokohama, Final.

Tokyo will try to get a foot on the cellar stairs tomorrow.
