About Christopher Pellegrini

Christopher is a budding sabermetrician and long-time supporter of Tokyo's more lovable team, the Swallows. He has publicly volunteered, several times, that he plans to buy the team at some point in the future. When he finally runs the joint, it is likely that he will fine any player who swings at the first pitch or sac bunts (unless it's a pitcher, of course). Follow him on Twitter: @chrispellegrini

I claim at one point in the podcast that Taiyo Fujita is a lefty. He is not.

  • Hokkaido chocolate

This is great for recovering from the flu.

Love the intro – I thought ‘ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls’ was another sample! Must be the full British accent

  • Dr. No

I joined the fanclub and used it to try to get tickets for one of the training games in mid-march. After making sure all my info is correct, I keep getting this non-specific error message:

    指定されたトランザクションは使用できません。 (ID:409-132)

    Any ideas?

  • Kozo

You can get your free ticket for all the Jingu exhibition games at the stadium.

I don’t think discounts apply for exhibitions.

    • Dr. No

the exhibition games are free for members? i guess it was protecting me from myself then. thanks!

      • Dr. No

I’m planning to go to a few of the exhibition games this week. So they are free for fanclub members? How many seats can I get? Do I go to the fanclub window with my card?

Sorry for the stupit questions, my Japanese reading ability is weak at best.

        • Kozo

You get one free ticket per game which is good for either the infield or the outfield.

          According to this link:

The tickets will be issued not at the Fan Club window as in the past, but at the front ticket window or the one by gate 17.
