Trivia: Sub-3.50 ERA since 2007

Hanada had his best year in 2006 (3.33 ERA over 54 innings pitched), but he was a year too early to make this list.

OK, let’s try not to think about the fact that Aoki is officially gone.

In fact, let’s not even think about position players at all.

Instead, let’s ponder the bright spots in the pitching corps over the past five seasons.

That’s right, it’s time for some more trivia (again care of SPORCLE)!

Over the past five seasons (2007-2011), there have been no less than 17 Tokyo pitchers that have pitched at least 25 innings and recorded an ERA under 3.50.

Can you name them?

This one should be considerably easier than the last quiz I threw out there. Most of you should get at least 10 of the 17 Tokyo pitchers on the list.

Rules:

Same as last time, take the quiz and then report your score in the comments section below. Please refrain from commenting on any specific answer so that other folks have a chance to rack their brains, too.

If you get all 17 of them, then be sure to post your time as well.

And don’t cheat. There are no prizes involved anyway.

About Christopher Pellegrini

Christopher is a budding sabermetrician and long-time supporter of Tokyo’s more lovable team, the Swallows. He has publicly volunteered, several times, that he plans to buy the team at some point in the future. When he finally runs the joint, it is likely that he will fine any player who swings at the first pitch or sac bunts (unless it’s a pitcher, of course). Follow him on Twitter: @chrispellegrini

One of the ones I missed is embarrassing (for me), but I don’t think I would have gotten that other one I missed.
