Bottom of the first, one out. Sakaguchi singled to right. Kawabata grounded out. Yamada walked. Yuhei hit an RBI single to left. 1-0 Tokyo.

Bottom of the second. Imanami singled, Nakamua popped out, and Sugiura sac-bunted. Ohbiki singled, putting men on the corners. Sakagchi hit and RBI single. 2-0 Tokyo.

Top of the fifth. Nakai singled to left. Hashimoto struck out. Sakamoto drove Nakai in. Chono singled, putting men on first and second. Abe hit an RBI single, putting men on the corners. K for Murata. Garrett: RBI double. That would end Sugiura’s outing. 3-2 Yomiuri.

Bottom of the seventh. Kawabata singled. Yamaguchi got yanked for Mathieson. Yamada homered to left.
Yuhei continued Mathieson’s warm welcome with a double. Mathieson followed this by walking Coco. Ueda went in as a pinch-runner. Imanami bunted both runners over to scoring position. Nakamura drove in a run on a sac-fly. Tanaka came in to pinch hit for Perez and was walked. Ueda advanced to third on a wild pitch. Ohbiki drove in one more. 6-3 Tokyo, Final.
