Tokyo Swallows 1
Streak: Lost 3 Last 5: WWLLL
(Meiji Jingu Stadium)
Tokyo hosted the BayStars for the first time since Opening weekend and were reminded of what awful guests the brutes from Yokohama can be.
|W: Ito (9-5); L: Yagi (4-4)|
They just kept hitting and hitting our guys. It was really uncalled for. A stern lecture would have done.

|RP||Hayashi, Soto, Mantani, Ohara||RP||Akagawa, Yamamoto|
Yagi, Akagawa, Yamamoto spread the being gone yard upon among themselves, which is teamwork, but not of the best kind.
The visitors scored like Ryuichi Sakamoto (may he recover soon). How it happened:
1st: Kajitani triple, Yamazaki ground-out to short for RBI. Gourriel double, Goto RBI single. Ishikawa single, putting runners on first and second, Kuwahara RBI double. 3-0 Yokohama.
2nd: Pay attention, this was the only mark on the board for the good guys. Yuhei hit the first pitch of the inning to center for a single. Morioka hit the first pitch he saw, putting men on the corners. Two pitches, two base hits, with a pair of young legs less than 90 feet from home. Oh, the makings of a good rally!
Iwamura grounded into a double play driving Yuhei in, the Nakamura popped out. 3-1 Yokohama.
3rd: Gourriel doubled. Yagi managed back-to-back Ks. Then Ishikawa hit an RBI double. 4-1 Yokohama.
4th: After a lengthy strikeout of Ito, Yagi gave up a quick solo homer to Kajitani. 5-1 Yokohama.
8th: Kurobane singled on Akagawa. A passed ball allowed him to advance. Akagawa struck out Baldiris on that AB, then gave up a two-run homer to Kajitani. 7-1 Yokohama.
9th: Ishikawa doubled on Yamamoto. Kurobane hit a two-run round-tripper. Shirasaki doubled, Kajitani, always playing to f*ing hero, drove him in. 10-1 Yokohama, Final.
The Swallows try to get out of the cellar tomorrow.
