T-minus just a bit over a week til liftoff.

We’re back with fresh intro/outro bookend music (care of Dave’s handiwork) and our prognostications about the 2012 NPB season!

With less than two weeks to go until opening day (Friday March 30th, 6PM, Tokyo Dome), we run through where we think the 12 NPB teams will finish the season with extra-special emphasis placed on your beloved Tokyo birds.

Key points:

  • How much better will Yokohama be this year?
  • What does Tokyo’s opening day roster look like?
  • Can Yomiuri be stopped?
  • Will Fukuoka and Chunichi repeat?

And you’ll never believe who we picked to win the Pacific League.

    Also, great strategy in bringing in the lefties for the season-opener against the Giants.
