Wishful thinking:

1) We win away at Tokyo Dome (when I am there)

2) We win away at Marines period.

3) D'Antona, Guiel and Aoki share 85 homers

4) Finish 2nd (or better?!), meaning playoffs at Jingu this year...

5) Furuta returns to pinch hit the winning run in the playoff finals, which bounces off Bryan's hard hat before I catch it.

There was news last month, that they are strongly considering Daisuke Araki to be the manager in the 2011 season, after Takada-kantoku's contract expires.
http://www.sponichi.co.jp/baseball/flash/KFullFlash20100106028.html
Maybe it might happen earlier, even though I have no idea how that will pan out....

BTW, the new site looks awesome. I am really looking forward to reading this site everyday once the season starts.

My wish is that Iihara and Takeuchi breaks through to the next level this year (too bad they both are at the ni-gun camp though).
I also long for the navy uniforms to make a come back.

My top two are the same as lat year, but here goes:

1. Yakult sells the team to an owner who's interested.
2. Takada resigns or is fired.
3. Takada is replaced by a manager capable of empirical observation and devoid of petty middle school games of favoritism.
4. The front office gets serious about promoting the team, including better availability of merchandise, more widespread televising of games, and a better web presence.
5. Stable pitching resting on the shoulders of more than three guys.

And a very personal #6. That the Beer Oji's position is taken over by a worthy successor.
