Robert,
He's only pinch-hitting right now. It sounds like his leg injury is not back to 100% yet. It's easy to see when he tries to run. I would imagine that he's being kept out of the lineup right now in order to put as little strain on his leg as possible.

The stat sheet that I follow indicates that D'Antona played last night, so I guess he's OK.

Is D'Antona healing well? He seemed to be back in the lineup earlier this month, then dropped out. Did the Swallows try to bring him back too soon?

We're glad he's doing well, although, other than an off-season visit home, we're hoping just the opposite of you, Ms. Glenn - we hope he sticks around Tokyo for a while.

We don't know, as we were busy celebrating a home run that wasn't.......

To be fair after Abe's slam I hit the beers so hard most of the rest of the game is a blur.

You guys were out there, right? How did Aoki's HR ball slip between the wall and fence to become a ground-rule double?
Once again, inanimate objects - even our own ballpark - are conspiring against us....
