Kida's WHIP is 1.94 so far this season. That's a lot of base runners each time he takes the mound. He seems to get roughed up early and then settles down a bit after that. Hopefully he can clean things up a bit so that he gets shifted to middle relief rather than being dropped to the farm team. Yeah, Greisinger was lights out tonite.

We were just on the wrong end of an amazing pitching performance from Greisinger, one which would have probably sunk any batting lineup in Japan. So I am hereby postponing any reality check until tomorrow night's game. And hey, Hanshin lost again and we're still second in the CL with a 9-6 record.
