While I do my best to be accurate, I know that some errors creep in as I find some every year. But I usually get requests for checking the players who go to the Majors, so they tend to have more complete information with checks.

I’m going to go through Patrick’s (NPBTracker) list one of these days and double check all of them.

I’ve got more complete stats up at Iwamura’s player page on JapaneseBaseball.com, including career fielding stats (which were requested when he was posted). IBB, LOB, and RISP are the only fields I don’t yet have completed (but could do if someone really had the need).

The hitting data has been double checked with BBM’s “2007 Baseball Record Book.”

Rob, the pizza delivery place that has accomodated us so far has been Pizza-La because it’s within a block of the stadium. The guy on the phone will tell you he needs an actual address, but he doesn’t. We’ve done it many times, sometimes even calling a few times in one game. (When you order a pizza at the ballpark, everybody gets the envy going and you wind up losing a fair few slices to keep good relations with the neighbors.)

Ken, there’s not, but Chris is tied for the record (one game, but that’s already too many, isn’t it?) with Thatcher Spero, also of our Section. Chris gets the record by decision, though, as the instigation apparently came from his household.

And, by the way, the figures in Chris’s stats are actually accurate to the best of my knowledge.
