The photos in that post were all by Ken Worsley except for the one in Bobby’s office (in which Ken appears), which was taken by Larry Rocca.

I shrank by eyeballing instead of actually reducing the photos’ file sizes or making sure the dimensions were accurate. Normally, I’m much more handsome but for that photographic effect. Pellegrini. . . well, there wasn’t much we could do for him.

Just in case anyone’s interested, Ayumi Kataoka and the amateur Ibaraki Golden Golds will be playing in Tsukuba tomorrow (Sat. 7/26) at 1:00 p.m.

She’s the only girl on the team, the rest of which is made up of comedians and former pro ballplayers or former aspiring pro ballplayers.

Something more like this, this, or this, Dave? That's Ayumi Kataoka - the only notable female baseball player I know of. Actually, the photos might be a bit warped due to the way I shrunk them down. That, and foreign players tend to work out a lot.

You should have asked Bobby why all the players look overweight. I guess baseball’s a fat-man’s sport. Now, if you had a few more ladies on the team, I’m sure the lads would slim down a bit.
